About
PipeWorks specialises in trenchless pipeline construction and rehabilitation. Trenchless technologies are less disruptive than open-excavation methods of pipeline works and considerably more environmentally sound than traditional methods. Current methods used include cured in place pipe lining (CIPP), pipe bursting and directional drilling.
PipeWorks is the local leader in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation, having successfully delivered a number of large and complex jobs, including an egg shaped trunk main measuring up to 900 mm by 1300 mm in Wellington. To keep at the cutting-edge of industry development, PipeWorks employs US-based experts as consultants. Such international input, when integrated with PipeWorks’ strong local knowledge and the strength of parent company, Fletcher Construction, provides clients with an unrivalled certainty of delivery.
Fletcher Construction is the pre-eminent construction company in New Zealand and the South Pacific. It operates through three divisions; Building (including Interiors), South Pacific and Engineering. As part of Fletcher Construction's Engineering division, PipeWorks is able to draw on the management systems, staffing resources, financial strength and technology that make up the wider company. The Engineering division has other business units such as Brian Perry Civil with which PipeWorks can undertake contracts of a broader scope.
