Pipe Bursting about to commence at 4 Kaweka Street
The project consisted of four different methods of re-lining of sewer lines for Waitakere City Council i.e.
- Slip Lining,
- Pipe Bursting,
- Open Cut and CIPP (cured in place pipe).
All sewer lines needed to stay operational for the duration of the project. Pipe-Bursting (140m) was used during the first Phase. Slip-Lining (420m) was used during Phase 2. This was followed by a short distance open cut (10m). CIPP and a few manholes (No 12) were repaired. |
