Structural rehabilitation of deteriorated concrete trade waste pipeline using Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) lining.
Concrete pipelines required rehabilitation due to the reduction in structural capacity through sulphide attack of the concrete. The pipes lined were 750 mm in diameter and totalled over 300 m in length. Flows that had to be bypassed ranged up to 150 litres per second.
Manholes on the section of pipe being lined were also rehabilitated using an epoxy product sprayed onto the cleaned concrete surface.
A first for Hutt City, this project was completed in a short space of time despite atrocious weather conditions. |
